DEADLINE: 7 March 2014 23:59!!! I absolutely disagree with saying that the government needs to build more prison facilities and fill them with criminals. Building more prison facilities is not useful. The government can't solve this problems by this way. There are a lot of criminals with different characters and different ages. Most of criminals even dont afraid to be in the prisons. Almost all of them live without roof on their heads and without food.
They commit a crime even they know that they will be arrested by police and will spend many years in the prisons. Building more prison facilities are not reason to eliminate this difficult problems.
I think the government has to act another way solving these problems. The government needs to do something special for people. It is necessary to solve their social problems as soon as possible. The government has to take care of kids' educations and studies too. The government must be interested of people's social and medical problems. Some people commit a crime because they have psychological problem. It may be comes from childhood travms, may be other ways.
People commit a crime because they need food, treatment and other important things for their life and can stand on their feet. Another way the government must think about special projects or acts to solve these problems. Ayna Aliyeva
I totally disagree with the statement that the government needs to build more prison facilities and fill them with criminals. I consider amount of criminal isn’t decreased by building more prison facilities and filling them criminals. The government can’t prevent crime effectively if it builds more prison facilities.
The government needs to act in three areas to prevent crime effectively.
First, it is necessary to improve life condition in the criminal districts and suburbs of the cities. Inhabitants of districts and suburbs often commit such crime as bank robbery, burglary, fraud because of poverty. If there are a lot of work place in the cities people can work and earn money. So the crime rate will decrease.
Second, the government must take preventive measures to prevent crimes. It’s necessary to do educational and psychological work with children. So such crimes as murder, rape and other crimes of violence are committed by people who had psychological scars and problems.
Third, the government must provide security in the streets of the cities. It is necessary to increase amount of policemen and set video camera in the streets. Also the government should struggle against drug sale and criminal groups.
In summary it is impossible to control crime by increasing the amount of prison facilities. It is necessary to exert influence on people psychology and life condition.

These days we can see on TV ,news about crime and violation in all over the world and unfortunately the rate and intensity of illegal acts increase significantly every day,"that's terrible".Therefore people specially kids and women don't have security because robbers and criminals can kill them easily.Some researchers believe that the main reason for the increase of crime is raise of poverty and unemployment in the world.So the most important duty of every government is control crime and create a safety society , but do you think facilities prisons can be only way to solve the problem?
In my view ,building more prison facilities can improve the criminal's living quality ,but it may have different effects .Although the rate of crime may be gradually dropped, it doesn't solve the main problem in long time period.
On the other hand ,the government have to assign more budget to build more facilities in prisons and we know it isn't possible in all countries, such as african countries, because they have many problems and they can't allocate more amount .
I think training kids in the first years of school specially the children who aren't supported by their families is more effective than facilities in prisons.Also the government should follow the programs to decrease the rate of unemployment and poverty in the cities, these plans will take a long time period but they will be more effective and beneficial to prevent crime.
On the whole ,constructing prisons facilities is not , only way to reduce the rate of crime in the cities. Simple equipments in jails is enough for them, but education prisoners and people out of prisons can be a practical solution to control crimes.
